Six-Stroke Cylinder Engine : An Emerging Technology
نویسندگان
چکیده
The requirement for the advancement of internal combustion (IC) engines and enhance methods cycle is increasing day by day. four-stroke engine extensively used due to better fuel economy less exhaust smoke. However, major drawback includes a considerable amount extra heat energy generation that directly adds up waste energy. In order overcome limitation, idea computing two strokes in utilize has been introduced. six-stroke significantly improved working ratio per cycle. Incorporating alternative fuels like hydrogen HHO into technology increases efficiency minimizes emissions. A could be solution making hybrid automobile more convenient. review article aims thoroughly understand underlying principles behind cylinder engine. researches on are summarized literature review. design configuration discussed towards end paper.

Most of the combustion chamber is in a dished piston, where the mating cylinder head face is nearly flat. Production for European models (Cortina, Capri and Fiesta) is now phased out. Ford Racing sold n...
متن کاملThe Influence of Engine Speed on Exhaust Emission of Four Stroke Spark Ignition Multi Cylinder Engine
An experimental study is carried out to investigate engine performance parameters and methods of reducing emissions from spark ignition engine. Fuel efficiency is one of the major concerns for the users, the designers and the manufacturers of internal combustion (IC) engines, The effect of increasing the temperature of cylinder liner has the advantage of reducing the specific fuel consumption b...
متن کاملA Study of EGR Stratification in an Engine Cylinder
One strategy to decrease the amount of oxides of nitrogen formed and emitted from certain combustion devices, such as the internal combustion engine, is to recirculate and introduce a portion of the unburned product gases with the air and fuel. The effect of the re-circulated gases is to decrease the maximum temperatures in the flame zone, and hence decrease NOx formation. However, dilution of ...

متن کاملCylinder-by-Cylinder Engine Models Vs Mean Value Engine Models for use in Powertrain Control Applications
An investigation of the need of engine model complexity for use in powertrain control applications is presented in this paper. The engine studied is an SI-engine, but the analysis methods could easily be adapted to a CI-engine. The different engine models investigated are a cylinder-by-cylinder engine model and a mean value engine model. The way to evaluate the engine models is to compare the d...
